ECL - a reliable provider of computer help and support in Essex
We believe our longevity and continued success in a fast-moving industry is down to two main factors.
Firstly, ECL has retained its independence and is still owned and managed by the same two directors who established the firm back in 1993 and who between them have over 50 years experience in the IT services sector.
Secondly, we have a loyal customer base built on our commitment to providing old-fashioned attention to detail in a highly modern, technical and challenging marketplace.
Our independence allows us to offer our clients a genuine choice when it comes to IT planning. We can offer expertise in a wide range of technologies, including various Microsoft infrastructure products (Windows Server 2008/2012, Exchange 2010 / 2013, SQL and so on) and also alternative platforms such as SuSE Linux. We were one of the first Essex based IT companies to become involved in virtualisation technology. The 'Cloud' is built using virtualisation. Most people are only now taking an interest in the Cloud, however we installed our first virtual server in 2005, and it's still running.

The ECL Team
ECL employs a dedicated team of experienced, highly trained and dedicated IT technicians. We look for certain qualities in our technicians over and above pure technical expertise. IT is an imperfect science and with the best will in the world things don't always go exactly to plan. Right from the interview stage, we look for the kind of people who are calm under pressure, and who are able to think on their feet when a fresh approach is needed and time is critical. We understand that technical expertise alone is not enough in today's demanding business environment.
Our experienced Account Managers are always on-hand to discuss your requirements, help you plan your on-going IT strategy, provide quotations, answer questions, and be the plain-speaking interface between you and our technical staff.
